There were 173 permits issued in November, compared to 152 permits issued in November 2009. Permit valuation was $2,774,797 compared to $4,014,786 last year. Fees were $28,150.20 for October versus $34,796.40 a year ago. Statistics for total permit valuation and fees will be tracked throughout the year in the following table:

Permits were issued for six new single-family dwellings last month. This compares to five permits issued for new single-family dwellings in November last year. The year-to-date total number of permits and total number of residential units will be tracked throughout the year in the following table, similar to permit valuation and fees:

There were two permits issued for publicly funded projects in November, a permit to replace a chiller at Babcock Place, 1700 Massachusetts Street valued at $244,405, and a tenant finish at the business incubator at 2029 Becker Drive valued at $92,964. The highest valued project for the month was a single-family dwelling at 1204 Inverness Drive valued at $250,000.
