RE: COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING REHABILITATION
CITY STAFF PRESENT FOR BID OPENING on November 9, 2010: Alan Landis, Jonathan Douglas, Tony Hoch & Jessica Roberts.
SCOPE OF WORK:
1920 Tennessee St.: Remove and replace concrete steps and landing and homeowner sidewalk. Some siding repair and painting on the exterior. Lift and provide new supports to a kitchen addition. Build wood steps and landing with handrails and guardrails to an exterior deck. Wrap and stabilize all windows. Electrical work to include a new service and wiring system repair through-out the entire home. Mechanical work includes minor ductwork modifications, installing a chimney flue and installing a new furnace. Spec includes gutting the kitchen and installing new flooring, cabinets, appliances and plumbing fixtures. Some minor door repairs on the interior and replacement doors on the exterior. Minor plaster and drywall repairs and refinish the wood floors. Alternates include adding vinyl siding and to include a new air conditioning unit. House was built in 1920, so Lead Safe Work Practices are required.
