Supplemental Agreement #2 – Wetland Delineation |
Project Status.
The City received Federal funds for the preliminary design and right-of-way acquisition for the referenced project. One of the requirements of using Federal funds is that plans need to be developed to the “field check” stage prior to acquiring right-of-way. Plans need to be sufficiently designed to know what the property needs are before acquisition begins.
The State has determined that wetlands may exist and are requiring the delineation of any areas that may be disturbed. The field check plans need to include this determination. This will be the final step to submitting field check plans to KDOT. All costs are being paid from the Federal Appropriation ($792,000).
Action Requested:
Authorize Mayor to sign Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Wilson & Company for the wetland delineation and survey in an amount not to exceed $15,750.
Respectfully submitted,
Charles F. Soules, P.E.
Director of Public Works
