DEVICTOR PARK TRAIL EXTENSION – PARKS AND RECREATION – B1054
The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department submitted and were awarded a $15,000 Sunflower Foundation grant for additional concrete trail construction at DeVictor Park. This is a 50/50 matching grant program with the maximum award being $15,000 for trail construction.
There will be approximately 1270 linear feet of path added (see attached map).

Recommendation Action:
Award bid for the DeVictor Park trail extension for the Parks and Recreation Department to RD Johnson for $39,499.81. The Sales Tax Reserve fund will be used to fund the entire project with $15,000 being reimbursed by the Sunflower Foundation Grant upon completion.
