The following buses and Fire/Medical equipment meet or exceed the criteria for replacement. We request City Commission approval to sell the surplus buses and Fire/Medical equipment on Gov Deals as we have done in the past.
Buses: The buses have been taken out of service and no longer run. They have all been replaced except bus 724 and the replacement for it is ordered. These busses do not run and will be sold for parts or as scrap.
Fire/Medical equipment: The Fire Department has gone to a foam system and the nozzles being sold do not meet the specifications for the new system. The Zodiac inflatable boat is being sold due to the age and anticipated maintenance costs needed. The inflatable hull has a tear and cannot be inflated.
