RE:	Wa Restaurant Sidewalk Dining and Hospitality License

Wa Restaurant, 760 Massachusetts Street, recently applied for a Sidewalk Dining and Hospitality License and has submitted all required documents. The related site plan (SP-6-29-10) is also on the September 7, 2010 consent agenda for approval. The applicant has requested that its patrons be allowed to possess and consume alcoholic beverages in the outdoor seating area, which is allowed with City Commission consent, per Section 4-105(D)(9) of the City Code. 

Staff recommends approval of the site plan and sidewalk dining and hospitality license for Wa Restaurant Inc., d/b/a Wa Restaurant.

ACTIONS:     Approve Site Plan SP-6-29-10 for a new restaurant and sidewalk dining area for Wa Restaurant, to be located at 760 Massachusetts Street. Submitted by Mary Kol for Freda Miller and Jack Miller Co-Trustees, property owner of record.

Approve sidewalk dining and hospitality license for Wa Restaurant, 760 Massachusetts Street.  

Grant permission for the licensee to serve, and patrons of the licensee to possess and consume alcoholic liquor in the sidewalk dining area (licensee also currently possesses a valid State Liquor License) pursuant to a license granted by the City Commission under 6-1201, et seq. (Sidewalk Dining License).
