RE:	Alpha-Omega Inspection Services for Carnegie Restoration

The City’s restoration and rehabilitation of the Carnegie building at 9^th and Vermont is proceeding with a planned completion for later this fall.  The City engaged the inspection services firm of Alpha & Omega Geotech, Inc. to provide specialized inspection services for several aspects of the construction.  These inspection services go beyond those of the architect (David Dunfield with Treanor Architects) because of their specific nature (soil testing, structural inspections, etc.).   The total for these services has amounted to $23,331.25 and has been completed for the project.   Funding will come from the City’s capital improvement reserve fund.
