ORDINANCE NO. 8559

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2009 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO YIELD SIGNS.

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, traffic on Melrose Lane shall yield to traffic on 25^th Street.

SECTION II.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Yield Signs, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
