ORDINANCE NO.  8550

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2009 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO,       RELATING TO NO PARKING

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  Ordinance 4604 that established no parking along the north side of Elm Street from 2^nd Street to 9^th Street is hereby rescinded.

SECTION II:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, NO PARKING is hereby established along the north side of Elm Street from 250’ west of 3^rd Street to 9^th Street.

SECTION III:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, NO PARKING is hereby established along the south side of Elm Street from 2^nd Street to 3^rd Street.

SECTION IV: The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of NO PARKING, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Sections I, II, and III.
