ORDINANCE NO. 8538

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2010 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO NO PARKING.

          BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, parking is prohibited along the north side of 13^th Street between Oread Avenue and Louisiana Street.

SECTION II:  Rescind ordinance that established no parking 7 AM – 5 PM, Mon-Fri, along the north side of 13^th Street between Louisiana Street and Oread Avenue.

SECTION III.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of No Parking, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
