Change Order No. 1 &  No. 2 – Exchange Place / Fairfield Street Improvements

 

June 8, 2010 Consent Agenda Item

 

Please include the following item on the City Commission consent agenda for consideration at the June 8, 2010 meeting:  Approve Change Order No. 1 & No. 2 – Exchange Place/Fairfield Street Improvements.

 

Project Funding.  The current contract amount is $1,286,904.30.  Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $4,170.39, is for the addition of quantities in materials.  Change Order No. 2, in the amount of $5,131, is for asphalt oil adjustment pricing per contract. The project is complete and financed through a benefit district.  The Benefit District is paying for 100% of the cost of the improvements and 0% by the City at large (Resolution No. 6842).

 

Action Request.  Authorize the City Manager to sign and approve Change Order No. 1 and No. 2 for Project PW0915, Fairfield East Addition No. 1, Exchange Place & Fairfield Street, Street, Storm Sewer, and Waterline Improvements.
