CITY STAFF PRESENT FOR BID OPENING on June 1, 2010:  Alan Landis, Diane Trybom, Tony Hoch & Jessica Roberts.

 

SCOPE OF WORK:

 

1609 Barker Ave.:  Install a new concrete driveway approach. Install new roof.  Paint all exterior wood.  Install a sump pump in the crawlspace.  Includes vinyl flooring replacement and countertop replacement.  Complete wall furnace removal and complete furnace installation in the attic space with ductwork. Install a new water heater. Minor electrical work including GFCI and switches.  Minor drywall repair and paint.  The house was built in 1936 and Lead Safe Work Practices will be required.

44 Winona Ave.:  Install a new concrete driveway approach and city sidewalk. Siding, fascia, soffit and porch repair.  Paint all exterior wood. Complete structural and paint stabilization of a detached garage. Door replacement and repair, window repair, refinish wood floors, handrail replacements and minor plaster repair with paint. Minor electrical work, which includes replacing fixtures. Plumbing work including water heater replacement, waste line camera and inspect, repair waste vent pipe and remove and replace bath/tub shower complete. The house was built in 1920 so Lead Safe Work Practices will be required.

Install new roof, gutters, downspouts and splash blocks.  Some minor siding, soffit and exterior trim replacement and paint all exterior wood. Install new exterior metal front door. Install vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, handrails, new modified handicap vanity for the bathroom, high rise toilet and grab bars.  Minor door repairs.  Interior drywall and plaster repair including paint.  Electrical work to include GFCI, fixture and switch replacements and smoke detectors. Plumbing items includes hot water heater replacement, minor service repair on the water line, extend sump pump drain, shut-off valves, install new sinks and minor repairs to bathroom fixtures. Install a new furnace. Install a dryer vent and weather head. Alternate includes installing a new vinyl sliding glass door unit.
