Public Works Street Division requested bids for one heavy duty dump body and hoist to be installed on the truck cab and chassis approved for purchase by the City Commission 3/23/2010. The truck body will be used by the Stormwater Division for hauling dirt and rock. It will also be mounted with a spreader and used for snow removal in the winter.
The low bid from American Equipment does meet the City’s required specifications. This purchase was approved in the 2010 budgeting process fund number 505-3-3910-6008.
