RE:	Art in the Park use of right-of-way

The Lawrence Art Guild submitted the attached temporary use of right-of-way permit application to close Massachusetts Street from North Park Street to South Park Street on Sunday, May 2 from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for the 2010 Art in the Park Art Fair. This event has been held annually in South Park and on Massachusetts Street. Staff will work with the Art Guild to block the street and control traffic appropriately and provide other city services.

ACTION:      Approve temporary use of right-of-way permit for the Lawrence Art Guild to close Massachusetts Street from North Park Street to South Park Street on Sunday, May 2 from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for the 2010 Art in the Park Art Fair.
