WHEREAS:          This recognition is to honor Kassie Shook for being named the 2010 Kansas Master Teacher; and

WHEREAS:          Ms. Shook was honored for relating skills to her students that were valuable outside the classroom; and

WHEREAS:          Ms. Shook’s dedication to her students at Sunflower Elementary is what makes her an outstanding educator; and

WHEREAS:          The City of Lawrence recognizes Ms. Shook for her outstanding service to the students of Sunflower Elementary School and the patrons of USD 497 and her designation as the 2010 Kansas Master Teacher;
