ONE (1) COMPACT 4X4 PICKUP –  PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – #B1012

The Public Works, Street Division requested bids for a compact 4X4 pickup.  It will be used by a supervisor to carry tools and barricades and to support street crew operations.  It is to replace Unit 300 which has over 100,000 miles and the maintenance costs have exceeded the original purchase price. 

Laird Noller Automotive’s bid is within 1% of Shawnee Mission Ford’s bid, therefore the local preference policy applies.  This purchase was approved in the 2010 budgeting process.
