ONE (1) FULL SIZE 4X4 PICKUP – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – #B1011
The Public Works, Street Division requested bids for a full size 4X4 pickup. It will be used as the levee supervisor’s transportation and will haul hand tools, small equipment, materials weighing less than 1000 lbs. and for pulling air compressors and the sign board. It will be used off road for approximately 10% of the time. It is to replace Unit 319 which has over 100,000 miles and the maintenance costs have exceeded the original purchase price. This purchase was approved in the 2010 budgeting process.
