EIGHT (8) POLICE CARS – POLICE DEPARTMENT – #B1010
The Police Department requested bids for eight police cars. The eight patrol cars being replaced have high mileage and maintenance costs. The replacement of these vehicles follows our ongoing police patrol car replacement requirements.
Laird Noller Automotive’s bid is within 1% of Shawnee Mission Ford’s bid, therefore the local preference policy applies. This purchase was approved in the 2010 budgeting process.
