ORDINANCE NO. 8487

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE TEMPORARY POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Section 4-105(E) of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, 2009 Edition, the possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to the Lawrence Public Library during the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce mixer between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2010;.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
