RE:	Health Care Access use of 1920 Moodie Road

The City has recently received a letter from Health Care Access indicating that they will be vacating the use and tenancy of the City owned building at 1920 Moodie Road. 

Staff recommends that the Commission refer this item back to staff for a report on possible use or disposition of the property.  The property was originally financed with some support from federal funds and staff is researching possible requirements related to future uses.  Possibilities may include sale of the property, use of the property for City functions and staff, or use of the property by others.  We have already received one inquiry concerning possible use from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County.  Other inquiries may be forthcoming.  It may be appropriate to have a public open solicitation for possible uses of the facility depending upon staff research and Commission direction on this item.
