Re: |
Innoprise Server Software Licenses |
Please include the following item on the City Commission consent agenda for consideration at the December 29th, 2009 meeting.
Background:
The City of Lawrence is replacing the City’s ERP Software and is moving from the existing IBM AS/400 Server that uses the IBM OS400 operating system to Microsoft Windows based servers that will be supporting the Innoprise Software applications. The Innoprise applications will replace the current SunGard H.T.E. software.
Microsoft Server License Fees:
The table below outlines the necessary fees for the file servers and SQL server licenses. The City purchases Microsoft Software via the State of Kansas’ Microsoft State Contract with Software House International (SHI). SHI currently has state contracts with 25 different states for government pricing and is bid regularly. The prices include software assurance that allows for upgrades and maintenance through the contract period.
