Community Cooperation Committee (CCC) Recommendations

to the Community Commission on Homelessness (CCH)

 for Communications with Neighbors at the new

Lawrence Community Shelter Site

I. The CCC offers that, if Lawrence Community Shelter board and staff are amenable to this endeavor, CCC would collaborate to review internal practices for handling communications with neighbors and community members and make suggestions for a revised or new plan.

II. The CCC requests that the CCH review, amend, and make recommendations for adoption of the attached guidelines for handling of concerns not resolved by the internal process at LCS.

III. The CCC recommends the formation of a Neighborhood Site Council that convenes quarterly to review neighborhood relations and resolution of concerns.
