ORDINANCE NO. 8469

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE TEMPORARY POSSESSION, AND CONSUMPTION, OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Section 4-105(E) of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, 2009 Edition, the possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to the Lawrence Public Library during the Lawrence Public Library Foundation Fundraiser between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009;.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
