CITY STAFF PRESENT FOR BID OPENING on August 18, 2009: Alan Landis, Jonathan Douglass.
SCOPE OF WORK:
936 Pennsylvania St – Trim overhanging tree branches and point foundation cracks. Repair roof decking, replace flat and sloped roofing, tuck point chimney and install new gutters and downspouts. Repair soffit, fascia trim, corner trim and paint exterior wood on house. Install jamb liners, sill covers and make repairs to windows. Install new package unit HVAC system with exposed duct work. Install new water heater.

1132 Rhode Island St – Remove a plywood deck and basement entry cover in rear and replace with a 2x deck system on existing foundation and a securable basement door cover. Remove and replace city and homeowner sidewalks. Install new gutters, downspouts and underground downspout drain system. Replace damaged and missing lap siding. Replace porch lattice, corner, and eave trim and install a porch beam support column. Prep and paint exterior. Install tile back splash for kitchen countertop. Make minor interior repairs and minor painting. Install new lighting fixtures in hallway. Install new furnace with additional duct work and water heater. Install new water service line and other water supply line repairs in basement. Alternate bids for sewer line replacement and upgrade of furnace.
