Bid Award for Fairfield East Addition No. 1 Benefit Districts |
Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at the September 1, 2009 meeting:
Project History. On March 3, 2009 the City received a petition for street, water and sanitary sewer improvements for Fairfield East Addition No. 1.
The CC approved Resolution 6831 and 6832 establishing the respective benefit district.
Project Description. The proposed project will include street, curb and gutter, sidewalks, water main, sanitary sewer main, and lift station/force main for the development. The benefit district will pay 100% of the cost of the improvements. No city funds will be used.

Project Status. Attached is a proposed/tentative project schedule.
Action Request. Bids will be received September 1. Staff will prepare a memo to be posted to the agenda and presented to the City Commission for Street, Sanitary Sewer, and Lift Station. City Commission will be asked to award bids as appropriate.
