RE:	Appointments for various boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for appointments.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Community Development Advisory Council:

Reappoint Patty Welty, Brenda Nunez, and Vern Norwood to additional terms that expire 09/30/12.

Hospital Board:

Reappoint Chuck Heath and Joe Flannery to additional terms that expire 09/30/13.

Human Relations Commission:

Reappoint James Dunn and Kevin Johnson to additional terms that expire 09/30/12.

Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging:

Appoint Cathey Parsons (842.5063) to one of the existing advisory council vacancies that expired 09/30/08.  Since the original term expired 09/30/08, Ms. Parson’s initial term will 09/30/11 when she will be eligible for reappointment to her first full term.
