AMENDMENT

TO THE AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF CITY GENERAL FUNDS

The agreement entered into on the ______ day of ____________, 2008 between the City of Lawrence, Kansas, a municipal corporation (hereafter “City”) and Lawrence Douglas County Housing Authority (hereafter the “Independent Agency”), is amended effective July 15, 2009. All of the terms and conditions of the referenced agreement remain the same except Paragraph I, Section B shall be deleted and replaced by the following:

B. The application for funds, as approved and amended by the City Commission, which states the funds will be used to provide rental assistance for homeless families and shall be made by the Independent Agency to participating landlords renting dwelling units to homeless families in conformance with the agency’s program guidelines.
