ELECTRCAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE – UTILITIES DEPARTMENT – #B09027

Utilities Department requested bids for testing and evaluation of transformers, frequency drives and switch gear associated with the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Clinton and Kaw Water Treatment Plants, and various lift stations.  This is the Electrical Preventive Maintenance that the Department has used to maintain the reliability of the pumping system for numerous years.  In an effort to consolidate and make the process more efficient for city personnel and vendors all the equipment was listed for a bid at once instead of individually, as had been done in years past.

This purchase was budgeted in the 2009 budgeting process.
