RE:	Appointments for various boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for appointments.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Aviation Advisory Board:

Reappoint Stanley Sneegas (865.0712), Gary Fish (841.4867), Theresa Gordzica, and Bob Newton (842.7698) to additional terms that expire 05/31/12.  Appoint Tom Kern (865.4411) to the position vacated by Rick Bryant and expires 05/31/11.

Community Development Advisory Committee:

Appoint Kathy Pryor (841.2044) to an un-expired position that expires 09/30/10.

Douglas County Community Corrections:

Reappoint Bob Suderman (841.6357) to an additional term that expires 05/31/11.

ECO2 Commission:

Appoint Frank Male to the position being vacanted by John Pendleton on 06/30/09.  Mr. Male’s term will expire 06/30/11.  Reappoint Larry McElwain to a second term that will expire 06/30/11.

Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Commission:

Reappoint Brad Finkeldei (842.1168) and Hugh Carter (785.271.1300) to additional terms that will expire 05/31/12.
