RE:	Wildlife and Parks Conservation Easement on Riverfront property

City legal staff has discussed and corresponded with legal staff from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks concerning the conservation easement governing the City owned property immediately east of the Riverfront Plaza property.  State officials have advised that the conservation easement prohibitions on construction of residential development and similar prohibitions would prohibit the City from allowing any type of man-made structures on this property.
