RE:	617 W 4^thSt;  Update on progress of rehabilitation

The following work has been completed or is currently in progress.

• Foundation - Approximately 90% of the foundation repair has been completed.  Areas of significant reconstruction include the south east corner of the east side of the structure and the entire foundation of the west addition.  Both of these areas had experienced significant deterioration or a complete collapse of the foundation wall. 

• Roof - The north slope (street view) of the roof has been framed, sheathed and shingled.  The contractor is currently removing the roof of the west addition as there is significant rot to the rafters, sheathing and shingles.  This repair is anticipated to be completed within a few working days.

Areas of concern to be addressed within the next few weeks include replacing all other deteriorated structural members which may include floor joists, sub floors and wall studs.  Focus will then shift to the porch reconstruction.

Pictures are attached which identify the work completed.

needs to have stone laid and then tuck pointed.
