RE:	Administrative Policy Manual for the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission

Please place the following item on the City Commission agenda for March 24, 2009:

Receive and approve the Administrative Policy Manual for the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission as recommended by the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission

Background:

The Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission (LCAC) has been working for several years to create an administrative policy manual that will serve to guide the function of the LCAC.  This effort was particularly timely with the City Commission adopting several new resolutions last year regarding the LCAC.  The LCAC considered the administrative policy manual and approved it at its February 26, 2009 meeting.  It would now be appropriate for the City Commission to receive and approve the manual as well.
