A RESOLUTION RELATING TO STATE AID

FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CITY CONNECTING LINKS

ON THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM

Be it Resolved by the Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas:

          That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, KLINK 1R Resurfacing Project Agreement No. 22-09 between the City and Kansas Department of Transportation, giving the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas authority to act for the City, and in its place and stead, to obtain for the City the benefits of State Aid and obtain the benefits of such legislation for the City on the terms and conditions set forth in such agreement as may be prepared and approved by the Secretary of Transportation and requesting and authorizing the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas to undertake and complete the work for construction of a project for the improvement of 23rd Street (K-10) from Haskell Avenue to East City Limits in the City known as Project No. 10-23 U-2205-01.
