RE:	2008 Lawrence Police Department Racial Profiling Report

Attached, please find the Lawrence Police Department’s 2008 racial profiling report.  A report must be filed annually with the Kansas Attorney General for each law enforcement agency in the state.  Section 1-2503(5) of the City Code requires that this report also be presented to the Lawrence Citizen Advisory Board, and this was done at their January 26^th, 2009 meeting.

A review of the report shows that there were no complaints of racial profiling filed with the Lawrence Police Department during the year 2008.
