NOTES:
TIP Transportation Improvement Program (2008-2012 amendment #2)
Surface transportation projects are listed in this document for federal programming via KDOT. Some projects are now listed differently on this table than in the TIP so either the TIP entry or this table needs revisions. Other projects need to be added to the TIP to program federal funds.
MTP Metropolitan Transportation Plan (T 2030)
Projects are listed in the MTP specifically as a project or part of a larger project, as part of a general category of projects, or as an illustrative project that we plan to do if additional funds are obtained. The fiscally constrained MTP does not include illustrative projects.
Some projects will need to be added to the MTP to make the MTP and TIP compatible and program federal funds.
ERP Economic Recovery Package
From what the City and MPO staffs have been told to date by KDOT and FHWA officials some transportation projects may qualify for this funding.
Eligibility details are still unknown and this list of eligible projects is likely to shrink as those details become available.
MPO Items
Projects highlighted in yellow must be included in the Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) approved Transportation Improvement Program and Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
