RE:	Appointments for various boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for appointments.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Board of Zoning Appeals:

Reappoint Jim Carpenter to his second term which would expire 09/30/11.

Community Commission on Homelessness:

Reappoint Jeanette Collier, Robert Mosely, and Charlotte Knoche to additional terms that expire 12/31/11.  Appoint Sandra Winn Tutwiler (843.3427) to an expired position that will expire 12/31/11.

Lawrence Alliance:

Reappoint Lori Tapahonso (830.2715), Deb Taylor (550.8668), Sarah Terwelp (331.2034), Chris Keary (841.8160), Mike Monroe (830.7400), and Luis Otero to additional terms that will expire 11/30/10.

Lawrence Bicycle Advisory Committee:

Appoint Gary Calton (550.4495) to the vacated position that expires 12/31/09.

Lawrence Citizen Advisory Board:

Appoint Thomas Weso (841.5757) to the vacated position that expires 03/01/11.

Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission:

Appoint Susan Craig, Kathy Porsch, and Christie Dobson to vacated positions that expire 01/31/10.  Appoint Joanne Renfro (766.1100) to the vacated position that expires 01/31/11.

Parks & Recreation Advisory Board:

Reappoint Kelly Barth (843.8578) to her second term that will expire 12/31/12.  Appoint Joe Caldwell (749.9452) and Andy Clayton (841.4910) to terms that will expire 12/31/12.

Public Transit Advisory Committee:

Reappoint Howard Hill (842.3922) to an additional term that expires 12/31/11.  Appoint Alan Black to an expired position that will expire 12/31/11.

Sister Cities Advisory Board:

Reappoint William Keel (841.6747), Andrew Tsubaki (842.3923), Gina Ross (842.6092), Richard Ground (856.3243) and Michael Kennedy (766.6679) to additional terms that expire 12/31/11.

Sustainability Advisory Board:

Reappoint Daniel Poull (749.5578) to his second term that will expire 12/31/11.
