ACTION:      Adopt Resolution No. 6817 changing the timeframes for initializing discussions with the City’s recognized employee groups, if appropriate.   

 

·         Consider approving use of right-of-way on various city streets, as well as city services in support of the Kansas Marathon on April 19, 2009.

·         Adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 8300, incorporating by reference, a Text Amendment (TA-04-03-08), to Chapter 20 of the Lawrence City Code (Land Development Code) to define and permit various homeless facilities.  (Text Amendment approved by City Commission on 10/14/08).

·         Conduct public hearing for the dilapidated structure at 1207 E. 13th Street. Consider adopting Resolution No. 6815, declaring the structure unsafe and dangerous and ordering property owner to repair or remove the structure within a specified period of time. Should the property owner fail to comply, the City would contract for the removal of said structure.   Staff Memo & Attachments

 

ACTION:      Conduct public hearing.  Adopt Resolution No. 6815, declaring the structure at 1207 E. 13th Street unsafe and dangerous and ordering the property owner to repair or remove the structure within a specified period of time, if appropriate.
