The award amount is fixed at $500,000.00 (see attached letter). This project is one of 15 projects selected from 62 applications this year. The project consists of a 10 feet wide concrete trail for pedestrian and bicyclists extending from 23rd Street to 11th Street along the abandoned railroad corridor located just west of Haskell Avenue (see attached map). Total length of this trail is approximately 8,700 linear feet. This project is part of the master plan for the Burroughs Creek Trail and Linear Park; the master plan was approved by the City Commission on September 4, 2007.
