25,000 FT OF 8” PVC PIPE – B08084
Utilities Department requested bids for 25,000 feet of 8” PVC pipe to be installed by Utilities Distribution Systems staff. This project will replace the 4” diameter watermains and smaller that the Department staff has determined to be inadequate due to this size of pipe which does not meet Department criteria for fire flow capacity, water quality and reliability due to age and material. This was a planned purchase as part of a capital improvement project.
