RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Public Transit Advisory Committee:

Appoint Jim Canaday to the unexpired term that expires 12/31/08, and to a subsequent full term expiring 12/31/11.  Due to the extremely short duration of the appointment to the unexpired term, I propose that the term expiring 12/31/11 be considered Mr. Canady’s first term.
