SODIUM BISULFITE - UTILITIES DEPARTMENT – #B08074

Utilities Department requested bids for sodium bisulfite.  These chemicals used in the treatment of water and wastewater.  Our previous contractors defaulted on the 2008 contract requiring us to rebid for this product through the end of the year.

Previously we received only one bid for the sodium bisulfite and did not feel that we received competitive bids.  We then rebid sodium bisulfite, resulting in the following bids received. 

This purchase was budgeted in the 2008 budgeting process.
