Code Enforcement Appeal Hearing
Brian Jimenez, Code Enforcement Manager, presented the staff report on Mark Bradburn’s property at 929 Holiday Drive. He stated that Bradburn was appealing the staff decision requiring him to paint his home.
Bradburn presented his appeal stating he cannot afford to paint his home and does not wish to do so.
Collier moved to support staff’s finding that the house is out of compliance, and staff should give Bradburn 90-120 days to comply. Polson seconded the motion, which passed, Harris dissenting.
Committee members suggested that Bradburn meet with Community Development Staff to learn about possible programs that could assist with painting. They also suggested he check with Household Hazardous Waste for recycled paint.
Adjourn
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:30 pm.
