Briefing Paper 10: Requirement of paid tax receipt before
filing of administratively approved Certificates of Survey. Linda Finger,
Planning Resource Coordinator, recommend the initiation of the text amendments
to Sections 20-806(c)(1)(iii) and 20-807(d) for public hearing by the Planning
Commission in June 2008, to clarify the procedure and process for requiring
presentation of a certificate of paid taxes with each filing submittal to the Register
of Deeds office. This amendment was requested by Kay Pesnell, Register of
Deeds.
Johnson moved to initiate the text amendment for Sections 20-806(c)(1)(iii) and
20-807(d) for public hearing by the Planning Commission in June 2008.
Motion was seconded by Jones and carried unanimously.
