Please include the following item on the City Commission regular agenda for consideration at the August 5, 2008 meeting:
* Identify an owners’ association to maintain common areas. If an owners’ association is not formed the responsibilities of the owners’ association will be imposed upon the owners of the properties. |
* Clarification by definition of alleyways, amenity areas, and angled parking. |
* Utilities located within the right-of-way will be approved by Public Works and installed prior to streets and sidewalks. |
* Clarification of snow removal practices. |
* Street lighting – the owners desire an ornamental pole and light fixture and will pay for the initial installation. The city shall pay for electricity and ongoing maintenance, including replacement of light bulbs. |
* Street/alley maintenance, parallel/angled parking and snow removal will be maintained in accordance with current city policies and practices. |
* Exhibit B identifies public and private streets, alleyways, angled and parallel parking, and landscaped, amenity, detention, and sign easement areas. |
Approve Maintenance Agreement between City of Lawrence and Owners of Bauer Farm. Authorize Mayor to sign agreement.
