RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Aviation Advisory Board:

Reappoint Rick Bryant to a term that will expire 05/31/11.  Appoint Richard Haig to the position vacated by Jim Stogsdill that will expire 05/31/11.

Community Commission on Homelessness:

Appoint Shannon Murphy to a term that will expire 12/31/10.

Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board:

Reappoint Brad Kemp and Constance Wolfe to terms that will expire 07/01/12.  Appoint Jeannie Hetrick to fill the position vacated by Kate Kelly.  Ms. Hetrick’s term will expire 07/01/12.  Appoint Jane Pennington to fill the position vacated by Maria Martin.  Ms. Pennington’s term will expire 07/01/12.  Appoint Nancy Longhurst to a position that expired 07/01/06.  Ms. Longhurst’s term will expire 07/01/10.  Appoint John Schilling to a position that expired 07/01/07.  Mr. Schilling’s term will expire 07/01/11.

Douglas County Emergency Management:

Reappoint Truman Waugh to a term that will expire 07/01/09.
