PAINTING EXTERIOR OF HOLCOM PARK CENTER – B08049

 

The Parks and Recreation Department requested bids for painting the exterior of Holcom Park Center. The paint / sealer is being applied to the exterior of the building to prevent further deterioration of the block and mortar walls. Over the past couple of years we have done a number of tuck pointing projects to repair bad spots in the walls caused by water infiltrations into the block walls. Sealing is necessary to eliminate this ongoing issue. The pigmented sealer was selected due to better durability and the need to cover unsightly damaged areas.  This was a planned purchase in 2008.
