Guest Tax Reserve
use |
The Convention and Visitors Bureau requests use of the guest tax reserve fund to complete work on its website. The CVB received four responses to an RFP for the work and selected with David Scherrer, Programmer with KU’s Advanced Learning in Technology Education Consortia (ALTEC) to implement a solution.
The project will occur in two phases with move of the current site to a new host then phase two of reprogramming the site. City staff reviewed the work scope and pricing and found it to be in line with programming costs. Attached memo.
ACTION: Approve payment to the Convention and Visitors Bureau from the guest tax reserve fund in the amount of $15,000 for use on website project.
