AMENDMENT

TO THE AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF CITY GENERAL AND SPECIAL ALCOHOL FUNDS

The agreement entered into on the ______ day of ____________, 2007 between the City of Lawrence, Kansas, a municipal corporation (hereafter “City”) and Lawrence Community Shelter, Inc. (hereafter the “Independent Agency”), is amended effective April 28, 2008. All of the terms and conditions of the referenced agreement remain the same except Paragraph I, Section A shall be deleted and replaced by the following:

A. Nine thousand dollars ($9,000) from the City’s General Fund will be used pursuant to the application for funds, as approved and amended by the City Commission, which states the funds will be distributed to seven agencies for the purchase of bus passes and work clothing required for employment for homeless individuals.
