Total Percent for Art funding from
2007 projects |
Note:
2005 and 2006 funds were used in 2006 and 2007 allowing the
City to commission two percent for Art projects totaling $104,000 for Fire and
Medical Station No. 4 ($38,000) & 5 ($66,000). This does not include costs for public
unveiling, artist(s) travel, artist honorariums, printing, postage, receptions
and other soft cost which totaled approximately $10,000 for the two projects.
Staff recommends that $8,163.06 be approved for Percent
for Art projects in 2008 or that the funds be carried over to the next
fiscal year to be used in the future to fund Percent for Art projects.
