Revised April 8, 2008 City Commission Meeting Minutes

 

We have received a request from Michael Almon, on behalf of the Brook Creek Neighborhood Association, to revise the draft April 8, 2008 City Commission meeting minutes posted with the agenda on Thursday, April 24th.  During the regular agenda item regarding the request from the Lawrence Community Shelter for a letter of support for a federal earmark request of $600,000 for shelter relocation, Mr. Almon commented on the item as a representative of the Brook Creek Neighborhood Association.  Mr. Almon noted the draft meeting minutes did not accurately reflect his comments and requested appropriate changes.  Mr. Almon was kind enough to make appropriate suggestions and included them with his request for revisions.  We have reviewed his suggested revisions and we have incorporated them into the revised draft meeting minutes included with this memo. 

 

Please substitute the attached revised April 8, 2008 meeting minutes in place of the version originally submitted.
